What Sets PKM Apart?

One of the benefits of working at a mid-sized firm is that you have the ability to develop close relationships with people in and outside of your department. PKM provides countless opportunities for employees to interact with each other outside of the professional setting.

Every year we have a firm wide outing which is always a huge hit. In previous years we have gone white water rafting, zip lining, and one year we even rented a house boat on Lake Lanier for the day, which was a blast! It’s great to see everyone having fun, and it’s a wonderful opportunity to hang out with people you do not get the chance to work with on a day to day basis. PKM also encourages interaction between departments through the book club. Every couple of months, the book club gets together to enjoy some free Chick-fil-A chicken biscuits and discuss the latest book. It’s a great way to get involved, stay educated, and meet new people within the firm. Then there’s the annual end of busy season happy hour. The firm rents out a space (outdoors if the weather is nice enough) at a local bar for everyone to get together and celebrate surviving another busy season. It’s no secret that busy season can be exhausting at times, so it’s nice to have this light at the end of the tunnel to look forward to.

When I decided to start my career at PKM, the thing that really set this firm apart for me was the people. The longer I’ve been here, the more relationships I’ve been able to build, and I couldn’t be happier with my decision!
