Stop, Pause, and Take a Break!

Busy schedules stress people out. Sitting in a desk chair for hours can cause back tension, headaches, and overall nuttiness. Everyone needs a break, especially during busy season. How to rejuvenate yourself becomes a must.

It could be a five-minute pause from whatever you are doing. Take a deep breath… and just relax. A quiet moment of just closing your eyes and thinking of an image that relaxes you – such as the warm sun on your skin and the sound of the ocean, a big country field sprinkled with flowers, or a trickling stream.

It could be to let your thoughts go back to a time when you felt peaceful and relaxed, and focus on releasing the tension from your toes to your head.

It could be a simple physical action, such as getting up and grabbing a cup of coffee or tea, taking a few stretches or looking out from the windows and enjoying the white clouds and blue sky.

A change of scene or a change of pace is good for your mental health. Even a daydream for a few minutes works wonders. You need it in any line of work.

I find it useful and I hope you will too!
