Looking Back…

Tax Principal

I graduated from the University of Georgia in December of 1999. Quite honestly, that does not seem like that long ago. I still remember going to football games, walking to class and studying for accounting exams. I also remember recruiting and how important it is to get involved early so you can be introduced to as many firms as possible. They all have different cultures, different histories and an array of career paths available to you. So, what can you expect at PKM?

First and foremost, expect to have fun and enjoy coming to work.  Yes, it is work but that doesn’t mean you can’t enjoy your job and the people you work with everyday. Expect to be challenged.  PKM’s philosophy and management places an extreme amount of focus and value on its people and that equates to constantly developing, training and relying on feedback from our team.   You will become a part of that process in making PKM a great place to work.  Challenges give rise to questions – don’t be afraid to ask them.  We are all still learning too. And sometimes, that means remembering what it’s like to be in your shoes.  After all, it’s been 14 years since I graduated.
