Jeans on Friday!
July 2, 2012
Many companies have jeans day on Friday, but at PKM it means so much more. Each quarter we pick a different charity that means something to a PKM employee, a charity that they support for personal reasons or just simply feel passionate about. Then each person who wears jeans on Friday pays a $5.00 donation (or you can choose to automatically pay $50.00 per quarter). At the end of the quarter the dollars are totaled and PKM matches it 100%. The donation is then made to the charity selected for that quarter. An example of some of the charities we have supported are, ALS Association (Lou Gehrig’s Disease), Camp to Belong, Creative Community Services, Emerge, Laughing at Leukemia, Lupus Foundation, Partnership Against Domestic Violence, Rachel’s Gift, Inc. and Sheltering Arms. Although PKM, a leading Atlanta CPA firm, has many other organizations and areas they support, this is a small way that employees can get involved and expand their philanthropy endeavors.
