Greg Jones to Lead PKM’s Regulatory Compliance Services

We are excited to announce that Greg Jones has recently joined PKM as the firm’s new Director of Regulatory Compliance Services.

Greg has held top positions at both traditional and innovative online financial institutions, where he created cutting-edge compliance strategies. He also served more than 20 years as Assistant Regional Director of the U.S. Treasury Department, where he won two Distinguished Service awards. Other accomplishments include identifying multi-million dollar fraud schemes which led to successful convictions and civil action and serving as an expert witness before the U.S. Court of Appeals. He also has extensive experience advising bank CEOs and boards as a consultant and a C-level banking executive. 

Greg will work closely with Risk Advisory Partner Sonny MacArthur and other members of the firm’s fast-growing enterprise risk management (ERM) team.

“Every day presents a new kind of risk in the financial world,” MacArthur said. “Greg’s experience in banking, compliance and regulation will add to our depth of experience in identifying and mitigating potential issues for our clients.”

Greg also dedicates considerable time to community service. This includes serving four years each on the board of the Georgia Affordable Housing Corporation and the Alpharetta YMCA. He has also been on the board of the Virginia Tech Alumni Association. He earned both his MBA and Accounting degree from the Pamplin College of Business at Virginia Tech.
