Background & Experience

Bill is a Partner with more than 30 years of experience as a banker and a regulator, 15 of which were at the Federal Reserve Banks in Cleveland and Atlanta. Prior to joining PKM in 2015, Bill spent more than 20 years as the co-founder of Credit & Compliance Financial Resources, Inc., working with banks to identify and manage loan portfolio credit risk, and comply with the increasingly complex federal consumer disclosure laws. In 1985 Bill moved to Atlanta, where he held the position of Senior Examiner in the bank holding company section. His primary responsibility was to oversee the supervision of five of the District’s largest bank holding companies. Bill was selected to oversee the Consumer Affairs department of the Atlanta Federal Reserve Bank in 1988, where he was responsible for supervising examiners, responding to regulatory questions, and investigating consumer complaints. After 15 years, Bill left the Federal Reserve System to manage the loan review department for First American Bank of Georgia. Bill is a founding faculty member of the Community Bankers Association (CBA)’s Consumer Lending School, which started in 1996 and continues today.
