John L. Erwin, CPA Audit Manager
Background & Experience
John began his career in accounting by completing an internship with PKM in 2008. After graduating Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Administration in Accounting and a Masters of Accountancy from the University of Georgia in 2009, he began working at PKM primarily in the financial institution industry. John is experienced in both public and non-public financial statement, benefit plan audits, and outsourced bank internal audits. John also has experience working with Sarbanes-Oxley Section 404 internal control documentation, testing and consulting services for both accelerated filers and smaller reporting companies. He is also an integral component to PKM’s college recruiting efforts. John is a member of the Georgia Society of Certified Public Accountants, American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, and Beta Alpha Psi Accounting Honors Fraternity.
